I'm currently open for freelance or full-time opportunities. I’m formerly the Creative director and co-founder of Ario, an augmented reality software company headquartered in Norfolk, VA, and have been for more than 4 years. My primary responsibilities are product design/3D design.
While my primary function was product design and 3D; my experience was heavily rooted in digital layout and design; and my degree was focused on creating game-ready assets and level design. My trade, while on active duty in the Navy, was video editing, magazine layout and design, photography and journalism.
As a Senior Product Designer, I've work on more than 10 internal and external projects through various phases including RFPs, discovery, wireframing, high fidelity design, and prototyping. I've also maintained multiple websites using Webflow and Plasmic, and led a small team on 3D projects using three.js, A-frame, and React-three/fiber.
As a Senior Designer, I was responsible for wireframing; high fidelity responsive design; interactive prototyping; illustration; 3D scene creation; texture reprojection; UV mapping and exporting the scene as .gltf/.glb to be embedded in the Three/Fiber/three.js scene.
My job consists of a mixture of 2D/3D layout and design, animation, rapid prototyping, UI/UX.
As an Experienced UI Designer at Homes.com I was worked on rapid prototyping design, for web and multiple devices, for internal and external clients.
My position for Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command was art director. My primary function was layout, design and editing for TNR Magazine, a 36-page magazine which was distributed monthly to more than 75,000 Reserve Sailors globally.
During my time on the Enterprise, I worked in three shops under the Public Affairs department: the photo lab, print shop, and SITE TV.
My responsibilities in the photo lab were taking photos throughout the ship of Sailors and Marines, studio portraits, event photography, journalism, as well as photo editing.
While I worked in the print shop, I printed, and helped with the layout and design of the Shuttle newspaper, various print requests from all departments, laser engraving,and comb binding.
While working within SITE TV, I shot video on the flight deck and throughout the ship for various projects, video editing and was in charge of the 8 movie channels.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design.
